Mitsuri was the first cosplay that I purchased from DokiDoki Cosplay. I was surprised by how high quality everything was, from the jacket piece right down to her little anklet bows.

My biggest challenge was the wig. It weighs about 4-5 pounds and required about 15 hours of styling. Though it came with the braids in it, I had to undo them to section them better and make the braids fluffier. I had to trim the bangs quite a bit because I have an exceptionally tiny forehead, but left enough length to create the volume they have in the final version. 

My styling techniques for wigs involve a lot of got2be glued hair spray, teasing/back combing, and a hair dryer to set shapes. For this wig in particular I also used the crimping method to give the wig a fluffier and softer appearance.

One very important aspect of this cosplay is the "boob window". I went with specialized "boob tape" both times and majorly regretted it both times. The tape was very strong and did its job but ripped off a chunk of skin from my shoulder and left bruising all over my chest area. Be careful with that stuff!
